Seven-year-old Nelson Kanters is a huge fan of the Gallagher Chiefs.

He went to one of the DHL Super Rugby Pacific games recently with his family, and his mother, Wahnita made him a special promise.

“I told my son if he collected enough flags, I would make him a duvet cover. Well, he rallied the troops and managed to get enough, so this was my afternoon!”

Wahnita, who is national customer experience manager for Tuatahi’s service partner Civtec, spent a few hours sewing 22 flags into a duvet cover and matching pillowcase.

Nelson is thrilled with his new look bedroom and will be waving another flag when his beloved team faces off against the Hurricanes this weekend.
